Seascape in oil by Pam Cundiff
My boxerfriend, Mirage, and I volunteer through NABS (Noah's Ark Bayou Sanctuary in Danbury, Texas) to train dogs to be Service Dogs for disabled Veterans in League City, Texas. There is no cost to a qualifying recipient, but that doesn't mean there is no cost. We need YOU to help us make this life-changing gift possible. Help us help them by donating at the bottom of this page!
President of NABS, Pamela Sanidakos explains, "NABS' primary function is acting as interim Fosters for other rescue groups who are often filled to capacity. Our Pen Sponsorship Program was created to provide a safe place for other rescues to house dogs they saved from kill shelters until individual foster homes are found.
Pam Cundiff is a retired board member of NABS. We implemented the Service Dog aspect over a decade ago when she became interested in a young Labrador we had pulled from a kill shelter. She trained Rocco, and through our combined efforts, NABS made history in Brazoria County as the first animal rescue that was saved, rehabilitated, trained to be a Service Dog, then donated to a local resident at no cost to the recipient!"
To show our gratitude for your support, we are giving a free dog training video with a donation of any amount. After you donate at the bottom of this page, come back here then click here to receive the complimentary video. The video is of my boxerfriend Mirage showing you how to get your dog to take pills like they are doggie treats! Thank you for your donation, and may God bless you for helping change lives, one service dog at a time!
If you are a disabled Veteran in or near League City and think you would benefit from a Service Dog, click here to go to the contact page and leave your phone number there. I'll do my best to get back to you within 24 hours to discuss your needs or other questions you may have.

"He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose," quote by Jim Elliot, a Christian missionary who died a martyr's death while sharing his faith in Jesus Christ.
DID YOU KNOW:
When a Christian met a stranger a long time ago after Jesus Christ was born, to distinguish friend from foe, the Christian would draw one arc in the dirt with a stick or his foot as they talked. If the stranger drew the other arc, which made this fish symbol you see above, both then knew they could speak freely without fear of being beaten, thrown in prison, and/or killed for their belief in Jesus.
