There are youtube videos loaded below of Mirage as a puppy. I began teaching her as soon as I got her.  Dogs learn like kids.  They learn to mind as they learn the language.  Some people say dogs don't understand words, but from my experience they do.  Judge for yourself as you watch Mirage learning the language and then learning to communicate her own wants and needs to me.
